This Father's Day (June 19, 2017) my family and I ventured on a long talked about day trip to the peaceful and serene Bear Mountain State Park, 30 miles north of NYC to meet the famed "giant elk head" that pears over the Hudson River.

I consider the statue the River's guardian angel.

After taking a hike up to the elk head, we walked down the wooded pathway to the water, where I came across a women doing yoga in an alleyway with her gigantic dog. The photos are one of my favorites.

Photos were taken on a Rebel Canon.
