Comic Books and How to Display your Love for Them
Comic Books and How to Display your Love for Them
Today we will be talking about comic books and how you can use them as decoration. I am a die-hard Marvel fan. I’ve spent countless hours watching and analyzing the movies (and now tv series). Marvel has a very special place in my heart, and if you’re a fan like me it does for you as well.
Throughout the years I have collected several Marvel related items, but my absolute favorite is the comic books my father gave me. One lazy Sunday morning my father and I went up in our attic to retrieve a few items. We came across one of his old chests that we decided to pull out as well. Inside was hundreds of old Marvel comic books. My father said he saved them all this time just for us. I was just flabbergasted. It was like finding treasure chest.
After reading a few, I decided to keep two to myself before my father returned the chest back into the attic. My favorite superhero is Spiderman, so I picked out those comic books to hold onto. Shortly after I came up with the idea to frame and hang them up as artwork in my room. It was a genius idea because I was too nervous that they would become ruined if I left them out as decoration on a countertop.
This is also great conversation starter if you have new friends or guest come over to your room. I have broken the ice a number of times by asking friends who their favorite superhero is or what their favorite movie is. You can tell a lot from a person based on their favorite Marvel character.
Who is you favorite superhero?
