70's Murals to Fill your Walls

Hello everyone! And welcome back to another week where I (a college student) give you more tips on how to make your living space more enjoyable. This week I will be talking about wall murals. As I was scrolling on Pinterest, I came across beautiful 70’s style murals. I will include some pictures,
but these murals are those typical iconic lines that lined every store, home, arcade, and mall in the 70’s.

I have always had a soft spot for the 70’s. The music, fashion, and interior design changes that came from the 60’s caused a cultural revolution. Individuals started to focus their intentions on freedom and love. It was all about being free and young! Even if you weren’t young, it still wanted those who were older to still feel free.

This interior design idea can be tricky if you live in a dorm room where they prohibit painting the walls. If you live in an apartment or house of sorts where this is allowed, I will highly suggest partaking in this idea. It will give your home a mid-century feel without being too tacky. This is very one trend now, but I think it will stick for the years to come. Something as simple and funky as this will be in trend for a while. This is the perfect design for a young adult. It will make the space look fun and funky without looking too dingy. I am saying this because most apartments or spaces of younger college students can be less put together. This can be accomplished by buying paint and very carefully tracing your desired outline on the wall. These are three different variations of the wall design. Use these as a guide! and for the color choice, I would suggest using neutral tones like the ones in these pictures. It will be much easier to match with the other decor in the room. Or if you want very plain decor, go for a bolder wall color like the first picture.
