Hello! Hello! Hello! This week I will be talking about a viral Tik Tok trend that I have yet to try out for myself…disco ball plants.

 

As I have mentioned before plants are a fantastic way to give life to your space. Just as important as the plant itself, is the type of pot it lives in. A pot can make or break a plant. It gives it a certain style and atheistic. Think about it. A square or round pot can totally change the image of the plant. A tiled, colored, or painted pot can as well. This is something to seriously think about. I will in a later article dive deeper into various types of potted plants, but for today I will be talking about the infamous and trendy disco ball plant.

 

The disco ball plant is exactly what you think it is. It is a disco ball that has been hallowed out and replaced with a bright green plant in the center of it. This is very easy to accomplish! All you need is a disco ball which can be purchased online (they usually run around seventeen dollars), a plant, and some rope to tie it up to the ceiling with. I suggest using an English Ivy or Grape Ivy as they are very easy to take care of indoors. Both plants beautifully drape towards the floor.

 

A disco ball plant is very fun, especially if you’re going for a vintage styled room. The best thing about this is that if you get tired of the disco ball pot you can switch out the plant for another pot! It’s that simple
